I graduated in 2019 and since then, I've dedicated myself to providing comprehensive therapy services across diverse populations and settings. My experience spans working with children/adolescents, and adults in community mental health, group private practice, outpatient settings (including a pretty popular bicycle company), and within the military community.
I currently serve as a Behavioral Health Officer in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. Occasionally, that does impact my schedule and availability within my practice; however, I always make sure that I give clients ample notice if military commitments are impacting my schedule and work collaboratively with each client to plan accordingly.
During my postpartum journey, I noticed a lack of psychotherapists trained to support women's health. To address this gap, I acquired my PMH-C. While I specialize in supporting individuals with PMAD (Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders), I also have a passion for career counseling and assisting people through major life transitions, as well as addressing issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, and OCD. I have utilized cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) from the beginning of my career and have expanded my expertise with training in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), behavioral activation (BA), exposure and response prevention (ERP) and various specialized approaches within CBT/DBT realm. I understand that each person's needs and treatment goals are unique; I’m a BIG fan of person-centered treatment- and I am committed to tailoring my approach using evidence-based practices to best help you.
